We’ve all had days where we don’t want to go to the gym, you just can’t seem to get motivated to workout. Event the most fit people have a ton of days where motivation is such an issue, including myself.
Whether you’ve had a hard day at sore, feeling super tired or maybe even those times when your just feeling “down” it’s way to easy to “skip the gym” . Saying this, it is important to remember that frequently missing workouts will impact your progress and will lead to further skipped workouts.
to help us through those times when getting motivated is truly an issue, we need to
- Set goals…ones we are capable of achieving
- if you just don’t feel like it…just go for a “quick workout”…It will likely lead to a full workout session.
- when not feeling motivated, arrange to workout with a partner.
- think about that fact that you will feel better after your workout
- reward yourself for the “self motivation”
