Have you had a recent MVA?

Have you had a recent MVA? Are you involved in an insurance claim but have not yet sought any medical attention or massage therapy? Well, we can help to guide you through the process.

If you are looking to receive massage therapy under an insurance claim for Motor Vehicle Accidents(MVA), then as a massage therapist we would have to do a complete assessment before we start our treatment. This is to ensure that we are providing you with the best treatment plan that will assist you with a speedy recovery.

Before starting massage treatment, you need to first see your attending physician, your physiotherapist or your chiropractor and be approved through your insurance company. Following approval of your insurance claim, you can ask your attending physician for a prescription for massage therapy and your insurance adjustor will most likely provide a specific one time amount for massage.

At Custom Bodies Fitness and Massage, we are not only massage therapists but we are also personal trainers. Some of our therapists have an extensive background in disability case management and rehabilitation along with experience in coordinating with  attending physicians, physiotherapists, chiropractors to ensure we work together in facilitating a treatment plan that will enable a speedier recovery.

When you book with us, we would ask that you have available a note from your primary treatment provider indicating you are medically able to receive massage therapy, any objective medical reporting indicating diagnosis, and all details pertaining to your insurance claim (ie.:  information about your insurance, claim number, and your adjuster’s name and contact information).
