We hear often in the self-help world how important self-care is. However, we don’t do it enough, and it’s because we don’t know how. I think we have a perception that there’s a right way to do self-care.
Do you have a to-do list? Is it a physical one you’ve written down or is it like mine, a mental one, that swirls in your head but rarely gets completed lol.
But are you on that to do list? Is self care on that list? Like most of use, self care is something that is “tossed aside” when things get busy or when we get overwhelmed.
This week, I encourage you to put yourself at the top of your to-do list.
Things to ask:
-What things do I need?
-What makes me feel good?
-What have I been putting off?
-Is there something I can do this week to make a start?
-When you have some time, look back over the week and see if things started to fall into place. Did your week feel better? Were you able to focus more? Did things feel less chaotic? Did you feel more like … you?
